Featured on the Macpreneur Podcast

I recently had the pleasure of joining Damien Schreurs on his Macpreneur podcast. We dove pretty deep into how I leverage Apple's ecosystem in my web design business, particularly in creating and managing Squarespace websites for small businesses and solopreneurs.

During our chat, we explored why I often describe Squarespace as the "Apple of web design platforms." Like Apple's approach to technology, Squarespace emphasizes simplicity and user experience, eliminating many technical hurdles that platforms like WordPress present. This philosophy aligns perfectly with my mission at Resonant Pixel Co. to make website management more accessible and maintenance-free for business owners.

We also discussed my evolution with Apple technology, from my early days with System 7 to my current setup with a 16-inch MacBook Pro. It's fascinating to reflect on how macOS and my workflow have evolved over the years. I shared some of my favorite productivity tools, including how I've transformed my use of Apple Notes from a simple note-taking app into a powerful file organization system.

A highlight of our conversation was exploring how modern productivity tools like Fantastical, TextExpander, and Raycast help streamline daily operations, especially when managing multiple projects. We also touched on my unique approach to using Squarespace as a transactional engine for businesses, moving beyond the traditional static website model.

Damien is an exceptional host who brings deep technical knowledge and genuine curiosity to every conversation. His questions led us to interesting discussions about the future of macOS, potential improvements to iCloud Drive, and how the continuing integration of iOS features into macOS might shape the future of productivity.

If, like me, you are an Apple nerd, subscribe to Macpreneur wherever you get your podcasts or give a follow on YouTube.
